In this two-part performance and installation, a researcher at a biochemistry lab becomes infected with an unknown fungal disease, transforming into a restless, impulsive, mischievous Creature. A team of medical professionals monitor its whereabouts, warn passersby of the dangerous disease, and showcase a public health campaign at a medical clinic. They try to quarantine The Creature inside the clinic, but fail due to bureaucratic setbacks.
Part one was presented at the Yale School of Art.
Part two was presented by Dumbo Arts Festival, starting in the streets of New York City and concluding in Leaf Medical.
